AGAT Laboratories is pleased to announce the appointment of Matthew Alexander as National Lead, Strategic Growth – Mining.

Most recently serving as Director Business Development – Minerals Division, Matthew has demonstrated strong technical expertise and disciplined client engagement across the Metals & Minerals sector. His leadership has strengthened key relationships and reinforced our commitment to Service Beyond Analysis.

With a background in Environmental Science and hands-on experience in environmental monitoring, geotechnical testing, and laboratory quality control, Matthew brings a comprehensive understanding of mining operations and client needs. At AGAT, he has played an instrumental role in advancing client service strategy and supporting our entry into expanding markets.

In his expanded role, Matthew will lead national strategic growth initiatives across our Mining platform, focusing on market development, key account alignment, and expansion within critical minerals and hard rock mining. He will work collaboratively with regional laboratories, technical teams, and business development leaders to ensure alignment across our One Lab Network and deliver a seamless, coast-to-coast client experience.

We are confident in Matthew’s ability to excel in this role and further advance AGAT’s Mining division nationally.
