Dr. Egemen Aydin, is an internationally established expert in emerging contaminants and advanced LC-MS analysis, known for his depth of knowledge in method development, unknown identification, and quantitative analysis of complex organic compounds. With 20 years of experience in environmental sciences and engineering, he has developed robust analytical methods for measurement of pharmaceuticals, hormones, illicit drugs, PFAS, pesticides, dioxins&furans, PCBs, and microbial metabolites across many environmental matrices such as drinking water, wastewater, surface water, sludge, and sediment.
Egemen has led multiple research programs and authored 22 peer-reviewed publications that advance global understanding of contaminant behavior. At AGAT, he develops specialized analytical methods, prepares accreditation-ready documentation, and provides scientific guidance to operations. His expertise strengthens AGAT’s ability to support clients with precise, defensible, and innovative solutions in environmental chemistry.
