Corporate Announcement – Bill Smith

AGAT is pleased to announce the appointment of Bill Smith as National Lead, Strategic Growth – Environmental.

Since joining AGAT in 2020 and most recently serving as General Manager – Ontario Environmental, Bill has consistently demonstrated strong, disciplined leadership while reinforcing our commitment to Service Beyond Analysis. Under his direction, the Ontario Environmental division achieved enhanced operational alignment, strengthened client engagement, and positioned the region for sustained growth within an increasingly competitive marketplace.

With more than 18 years of experience in the environmental and hazardous waste sectors, Bill brings a comprehensive understanding of regulatory frameworks, market dynamics, and evolving client expectations. His ability to translate strategy into measurable execution has been instrumental in driving performance while fostering cohesion across sales, client services, and laboratory operations.

In his expanded role, Bill will lead strategic growth initiatives across AGAT’s Environmental platform. His mandate includes advancing coordinated market development strategies, strengthening national account alignment, identifying expansion opportunities, and ensuring our service offerings continue to evolve in step with client and industry demands. He will maintain a key focused presence in key Central and Eastern Canadian markets to ensure continuity and leadership depth, while enhancing his exposure to our network Nationally.

This appointment reflects AGAT’s continued investment in leadership that bridges operational excellence with strategic foresight. As we further scale our Environmental platform, unified growth strategy and national alignment are critical to delivering sustainable, long-term performance.
