AGAT Laboratories is expanding its network with the opening of a new environmental lab in Vancouver, B.C., strategically-placed to support industry growth in British Columbia.
Marking a new milestone for AGAT, this laboratory joins Canada’s largest privately-owned lab network to give clients greater access to analytical testing closer to where projects are taking place.
“British Columbia is an important growth market for AGAT and for Canada,” says Marissa Reckmann, CEO, AGAT Laboratories. “As investment in infrastructure, natural resources, and major projects continues across the province, having a local laboratory in Vancouver gives us greater capacity to support our clients and respond to the needs of a growing market.”
AGAT’s Vancouver location will support the environmental sector along with British Columbia’s industrial and mining industries.
This facility joins other essential labs in British Columbia including those in Whitehorse, Yukon and Terrace, B.C. Together, all three labs support critical water testing where analysis is often required within 30 hours of collecting a sample.
AGAT’s Vancouver lab represents another step in ongoing investment in lab infrastructure across Canada as the company continues to expand capacity in key markets and support growing industries.
