Corporate Announcement – Carter Clarkson

AGAT Laboratories wants to take this opportunity to announce the appointment of Carter Clarkson to the role of Manager, Technical Services for PVT and Special Core Analysis.

Carter brings over 35 years of extensive experience in the oil and gas industry, spanning Drilling, Field Production Operations, Upstream Plant Operations, and Well Servicing.

His career began in 1993 with Precision Drilling Ltd., later transitioning to Koch Oil’s upstream team in Central Alberta. Carter then joined AGAT (formerly Hycal Energy / Weatherford / Stratum), where he dedicated more than 25 years to PVT and Special Core Analysis projects, advancing to senior roles in Business Development and Operations. His responsibilities included overseeing field services, special core analysis, and reservoir fluid studies for projects across the Western Canadian Sedimentary Basin, various U.S. regions, and international markets.

Throughout his career, Carter has demonstrated exceptional leadership, technical expertise, and a commitment to innovation in reservoir engineering. His passion for advancing industry best practices and ability to drive complex projects to completion have consistently delivered value for clients.

Based in Calgary, Carter will play a key part in supporting the rapid growth of our reservoir engineering services across Canada and the United States, ensuring AGAT’s commitment to delivering “Service Beyond Analysis” remains unwavering in every client interaction.
