Corporate Announcement – Leah Treloar

AGAT Laboratories is pleased to welcome Leah Treloar (Chiste), G.I.T., to the position of Business Development Lead – New Markets. Leah brings over a decade of expertise as a Geologist and Geochemist, with a dynamic background across the exploration, mining, environmental consulting, and agriculture sectors.

Leah most recently served as the Global MMI Product Manager at SGS, where she oversaw operations and technical programs across North and South America, Eastern Europe, and Australia. Her leadership has been instrumental in advancing global geochemical methodologies and guiding both clients and internal teams with technical precision.

She holds a Bachelor of Science with Honours in Geology from Acadia University and pursued graduate studies at Queen’s University, focusing on element mobility in deep cover deposits. Her technical strengths include geochemical data interpretation, soil program management, and multidisciplinary risk mitigation. Beyond her professional achievements, Leah is a passionate advocate for education, mentorship, and community engagement. She has held roles as a teaching assistant, club president, and research leader, and is an active member of PDAC, AAG, and PGO.

In her new role, Leah will support AGAT’s continued growth and innovation by identifying and developing new market opportunities. Her expertise and enthusiasm will be vital as we expand our reach and enhance the value we provide to clients.
